Just curious, but why does it take longer for GOG users to get the patch? Anyone know? Is our version different from Steam or is it just a contractual thing?

I think on Steam the developer has more direct access to update (uploading files and hitting a switch), but on GOG it needs to be packed in their installer...

Maybe in the future GOG can simplify the process.

Hey guys,

The patch for the PC version should be showing up in your accounts and the Mac version is uploading as I type this. We had a slight delay due to technical issues. Sorry about the wait.

Patch says I don't have the right version of TE.... I have downloaded and played the first version, can i reinstall the latest download without losing my save games?

Could you send a screenshot of that error message to Support? Thanks :)

edit: you should be able to do so as the developers didn't warn us about saves not being compatible :)

Same message here, I'm guessing the problem is that the patch requires version 2.0.0.9, mine is the original 2.0.0.7 version.

I'm in the same boat. I started downloading the newer version just in case...but then I worry that my saved game won't carry over. I'll wait another day or two I guess.

Well I survived 16 years.. I'll just rock on with 0.7,.. am past Chandle A. anyway..
But if the ..0.9 thing is for real?!
GOG should just merge the patch now

haha, i know the feeling. But I found myself back on Chandler Ave later in the game (i won't spoil anything) and the audio drove me crazy knowing it could be fixed.
