I'm playing in Gamer Mode. I've spoken to Louie about the scarf and Luci Luv, and shown him the untranslated letter. He sends me to Clint at Coit Tower. I speak to Clint and ask about letter (He can't translate it), about the scarf, and about Luci Luv.
I've gone back to a save in the cabin and then tried several different paths to Clint, including speaking to Gary and realizing I need a bottle to get him to cooperate, giving Nilo his wallet, or not. Nothing changes dialogues with Clint.
From a walkthrough, I gather that Clint should tell me that Luci's real name is Emily(he doesn't), and he should tell me about Gus Leach and give me a key to the Flamingo. None of this happens so I can't advance to get to day 3.

For some reason I missed asking Louie about the young blond woman. I did it this time through, found out her name is Emily, and Clint mentioned Gus Leach and gave me the key to the Flamingo. So I'll be able to advance to Day 3 after all.
