Well, I've played Under a Killing Moon before, now I'm playing The Pandora Directive and I recognized that the point system has kind of changed.
Or I remember badly.
Anyway, I'm a bit confused about the 'pay X points to get a hint or pay 500 points to get this or that in the electronics store...I accidently bought something in the electronics store by sacrificing the gaming points I gathered and now I'm in the red...:o
How does that affect the game progression or the ending etc...?

I don't think it will affect the ending or game progression, it may just affect your ability to use the hint system until you are out of the red and have more points to spend.
