I am having a lot of trouble with getting by the security system in Gideon's gallery - does anyone have a saved game past this point?

if you find the control panel do the following, press the button & then alt+d & then jump down to the floor. this disarms the floor

if you find the control panel do the following, press the button & then alt+d & then jump down to the floor. this disarms the floor
Thanks for the suggestion plumgas but sadly it does not work for me. I tried left and right alt keys and even tried the ctrl key but nothing worked.

That is what I did. I went back and tried again - but I just keep dying. I held the left alt key plus D and also tried right alt key plus D - same result, I died.

Ah well I guess I will just have to keep struggling with actually getting through the thing.

where are you when you die, are you on the floor. if so thats what is wrong. you must press the control button press the keys & then jump down

No I am on the wall - I press the control panel button, then alt plus D and then jump to the floor - then I die.

Try to memorize this picture. When you press the switch, the floor tiles will start changing. White are safe, red kills you:
