Hello! I ve just created server for my friends on linux machine - the can connect and play without any problem
but I keep getting "You are not using the same version as this server" error message :(
edit: yes the version is indeed 1.4 on client and 1.4.0.1 on server - seems like we got outdated version

The gog version is 1.4 windows for me, not 1.4.0.1. I can not join my own server, which is the 1.4.0.1 linux version.

Same occurs for me. I can't play with people using the Steam version, since they're playing with 1.4.0.1, and GOG only has 1.4.

Same boat. My friends on steam have 1.4.0.1, and I have 1.4.0.0. We can't play together anymore.

Same here. I thought that there is no version 1.4, only 1.4.0.1? I hope someone takes a look at the install script or game files and changes the version, because in my mind they have to be the same.

I have this problem too, a few friends are running 1.4.0.2 and I have 1.4. (I think they have Terraria via Steam) we can no longer play together.

If you verify your files in GOG Galaxy, you should automatically be updated to 1.4.0.2.

Can confirm, did so yesterday and was finally able to connect.

Do you have any ideas what actually changed? Unfortunately, GOG Galaxy and its repair functions don't work on every OS.

I'm on Linux and would really like to play the latest version with my friends.
It can't be *that* hard to upload an updated Linux version as well... >.>

And here I thought for once GOG Linux users could actually enjoy version parity in a timely fashion. Haha, nope!

The offline installers for every game are manually updated by the GOG staff (or at least that's what used to happen), which usually means they arrive work day or two behind the Galaxy updates.

Really? Manually? That's totally inefficient, unreliable and expansive.
