I'll start off with a couple screenshots of some small houses (and mining caves) I built. I even tried building an underground house - you can see it in the first screenshot.

I WANT TOO, but how? My normal 'PrtScn' button doesn't work and everything I found online refers to the Steam version.

Sad as I recently had a glass castle that I got rid of before I could record it.

Far out, thank you. I'm dead now but I'll install it tomorrow and it may be a while before I build anything "shot worthy". :D

I'll post what I built so far tomorrow. Just keep in mind the base in a work in progress and is going to be tweaked alot before I am through.

Expanded my 2 wooden houses. Found a Chandelier in an underground home and placed it in the bigger house.. Also had some fun with bricks.

I have an underground lake. Ducks move in and out regularly. It has pretty glowy things as well.
Maybe it's not particularly neat but I like it.

This is the best thread on the forum. :D It keeps me rife with ideas.

I still have to create other 2 or 3 rooms for my other NPCs. And I'm collecting the missing trophies, banners and equipments before going to Hardmode. Also, I plan to create enough Racks and Mannequins to display my weapons and armors. It will be really difficult >_< along with biomes so I can plant stuff and rooms to display captured animals.

... I just gave up on making enough mannequins just for all the Halloween costumes. So, uh, good luck with that!
Also - you actually built a sort of sickbay for your nurse. That's neat. My NPCs don't even get beds.

Initially I'm pretending to display my armors only, so the costumes aren't included for the moment xD

There are so many collectibles in the game, so one step at a time or I'll turn myself crazy ^^'

I made a mushroom diamond.

Sounds reasonable. Better than what I do which is try and put everything on display and then give up halfway through because there are SO MANY THINGS.

I really wish I hadn't looked at that. :P

Here I am putting together an abode thinking "Hey, this isn't bad!" only to realize that the roaches at your place wouldn't be caught dead anywhere near my slum. XD

BTW I still can't get Greenshot to work. There are no instructions here.

Some of my more inspired housings:
A tree house. Do note the minimap here.

Boxed in. Much closer to my standard style, but with a more inspired greenhouse than usual.

This one started a bit smaller... Changes in building materials and weird angles help show how it grew.

This one used to have at least one of every object in the game stored, before v1.1. It's still my main storage, and gets updated when I feel like it.

Something apropriate for the season I built last year on a multiplayer server.
