I remember the game had an option menu when I had it on disc (Graphic options, difficulty, etc...), but I can't find it on the GOG version... true I haven't played the game in 15 years........ What am I missing?

I have yet to purchase the GOG version but I remember in the original game you set those settings before the installation. back then it was common to start the install application to change sound settings etc.
Maybe it was omitted in the GOG version and they added the correct values directly to the config file.
No, Manouche is referring to the in-game options menu, not the external video card/sound card (etc) menu.

Note that the settings are only stored with your saved games (and hence only restored if you're loading a save).

Also note that the maximum setting for graphical detail still leaves the terrain detail option one level shy of its maximum, so be sure to set that one manually.

How does one set the graphics detail manually?
I found the in game options menu that lets me select "320 x 400" or some such. Is there any other area where I can adjust the graphics quality?

Thanks for the help ;)

That's the one. (Type 'o' for options.) Set resolution to 320x400, "master detail" to excellent, and "ground detail" to excellent.

Thanks Bro :)
Is there a way to keep the 320x400 resolution when the game starts up? Or does it have to manually be set every time?
