This game has been on sale multiple times on Steam and is currently 40% off. Could you please add the discount here as well?

They have the 40 percent sale at Steam right now because they just launched a major update with a new play as a terminator mode plus a free comic DLC.

I hope they bring it here. :)

That's not entirely true. As the original poster stated, the game has been on sale on Steam multiple times without a matching sale on GOG. Below are the times this game went on sale, according to IsThereAnyDeal.

GOG: 25% discount, 12/20/2019 - 01/02/2020
Steam: 25% discount, 12/19/2019 - 01/02/2020
Steam: 25% discount, 01/23/2020 - 01/27/2020
Steam: 25% discount, 03/13/2020 - 03/27/2020
Steam: 40% discount, 06/25/2020 - 07/09/2020
Steam: 40% discount, 08/01/2020 - 08/03/2020
Steam: 40% discount, 10/29/2020 - 11/02/2020
Steam: 40% discount, 11/05/2020 - current

Notice a pattern there?
Sigh. Steam seems to always get more attention. Which is a shame.

Hopefully when the new update drops here at GOG they have a sale along with it just as they have at Steam right now.

I hope so as well. If they do put it on discount here, it'll almost surely be an instant buy for me. The only thing that has prevented me from getting it on Steam is the fact that I'd rather get it DRM-free.

I already bought the game at the GOG launch. Having already played it a bit from a friends Steam account it was well worth it. The game is a very good representation of the spirit of the original films. It is a bit janky at times but is very true to the T1 and T2 with lots of nostalgia Easter eggs and the use of the score and the atmosphere really drives it home.

I am just a tad disappointed that the developers choose to give Steam precedence over GOG with the current update. Though I read from a post at Steam that the update will be hitting here next week. It is not a direct official post seen first hand but some one emailed the developers and that was the response.

I understand small delays and that managing two sale platforms can be frustrating. I am ok with delays but I wish the developers or gog would just drop a post in the terminator forum saying the Infiltrator update and comic DLC will be coming next week. It would be a nice courtesy just to keep us from wondering "are we getting this at all". Steam gets these kind of news updates all the time. I know the sales here are probably only a drop in the bucket compared to Steams but people still purchased the game here. Anyway, I am glad it came to GOG. I also get that they probably want to stagger the updates (and sale) so as not to compete with Steam.

A sale would definitely be nice for those of you on the fence about buying it and this update would definitely be the time to do it. Hopefully it happens. :) I am pretty sure you wont be disappointed in the game. At first glance it appears to be very linear. However, it actually has some branching paths and multiple ways of achieving goals. Not as diverse as some games but it is there, among, one or two on rails moments. It has a very good balance of cinematic story telling, branching paths and player choice, and a well conceived game world. Game play is a nice mix of shooting, Stealth, and exploration that is very satisfying. With a nice dose of RPG mechanics and story delivery. Dont expect Fallout NV level of choice but this game does have a good amount.

In Short, Terminator Resistance is a well executed budget game that is very true to the original films. :)

So I'm not just missing the boat here...
Where do you all get this information from! Is there some database for Steam discounts?

The website is IsThereAnyDeal. It tracks prices among the many online game stores. Search for a game title, select it from the search results, and then click "History" beneath the game title.

Additionally, if you're looking for pricing only on Steam, then you can look at SteamDB (not affiliated with Steam). Search for a game title, select it from the search results, and then select "Prices" on the left side.

Thanks. I am curious to see if Strikesuit Zero DC has ever had a sale on GOG. Because in all the time it has been in my wish list I have not seen a sale on it.
I agree. My backlog is way to big for me to purchase this at full price. With a juicy discount however, that's another story.

According to IsThereAnyDeal, Strike Suit Zero: Director's Cut has been on sale extensively in the past, but there have been no sales since August 2018. There were frequent sales in 2014 and 2015 at $3.99, only three sales in 2016 (one at $7.99 and two at $2.99), no sales in 2017, three sales in 2018 (at $9.99 each), and no sales in 2019 or 2020.

Sadly, those are two trends I have ve noticed on a lot of games on Steam as well -- 1) developers or publishers raising sale prices in 2018 (with some of them raising sale prices again in 2019), and 2) developers or publishers stopping sales entirely in 2018 or 2019.

By comparison, the game was put on sale on Steam twice in 2019 ($7.99 and $6.99) and twice in 2020 ($3.99 and $4.99), so the game hasn't been abandoned everywhere, just on GOG.

I think I put it on my wishlist in late 2018 so must have just missed those sales. I notice that the developer has another offshoot game of Strike Suit Zero on Steam. But they have not put it on GOG. So, I guess they have abandoned the store front.

I wonder if the sales were not enough? I have seen this happen for a couple games. Supraland and The Long Dark. Where the games were removed completely. It is a shame if that is the case. It is a sad reality that Steam just has the greater numbers. So GOG will often go under recognized.

The problem with this game is however, that it won't be on offer forever. At one point the Terminator license will run out and GOG will take it off the store. If we haven't bought it by then, we never will. I do hope that it gets a decent sale before that.
