With 1680x1050 set in ToEE, the text is really tiny. It's not something that was introduced by GoG of course, but has anyone found a way around this? It kinda makes the game unplayable when the font is so small :|
With a 22 screen id say its not that small, but i fancy 1280*1024 better, wsm doesn't work on higher res on my system

edit: nevermind, thought this was about baldurs gate so ignore my post hehee

Yes this is ideal.

If you're having trouble selecting this resolution with an nvidia card. Remember to enable the "manage custom resolutions" menu in the control panel. It isn't shown by default.
Is this an Infinity Engine game? I looks like one, but I tried that fix and it did nothing. I created an "overrides" directory within in the C:\Program Files (x86)\GOG.com\Temple of Elemental Evil\ directory.

It is. Was hoping it would work. Oh well.

Temple of Elemental Evil has nothing to do with the Infinity Engine.
I don't even understand the confusion. Half of the assets are 3D models, the combat system is turn based and the company that developed the game had nothing to do with BioWare.
