Can't find him anywhere. I'm not sure why. I did kill a lot of Earth Temple Bugbears, but that shouldn't... remove him from the game, right?

Also, some more questions regarding the elemental castes. Am I supposed to join Earth right away or can I choose whom to join? I know that later Romag will ask you to kill the leader of the Water temple, then you'll be able to discuss things with him and potentially help out Water temple instead. Is this the way it's supposed to be?

I also know where the Air temple leader is, but I've never met the leader of Fire temple. Is the questline static or can I just join whoever I please?

I'm just so clueless in this game, I've only played NWN before and the entirety of the world of D&D is still alien to me. Excuse my ignorance. I appreciate any help provided.

Some of them have missions for you and some dont.
You can pretty much do as you please, or just kill the whole lot of them, which is what I'd recommend anyway.
The prices for completing stuff for them are trivial, and you really dont want them to take you to the boss before you're well leveled up.

My favorite dialogue is opening up with a fireball.

They're all evil anyway, right? I guess killing them all would be fun. Thanks for letting me know, I thought I was supposed to join Earth and then the questline would progress normally.
As far as where Romag went, there are 3 "alert states" for the Temple: unalerted, alerted, lockdown (Co8 mod only). You change the alert state depending on what you do in Nulb and in the Temple itself.

unalerted - nobody expecting you and you can lie about your goals, all temples and leaders try and recruit you. All doors to the lower levels are open and accessible.
alerted - they know who you are and are expecting you. They will still try and recruit you. The big metal doors to the main tempe levels are locked.
lockdown - the Temple knows you are trying to destroy them. Each leader gathers with their followers to defend their respective temples.

Sounds to me like you killed too many bugbears on lvl 1 and the Earth Temple is in lockdown. Nothing left to do but fight at this point.

If the temple is unalerted or alerted, you can talk to each leader (they all have missions for you) and complete the first 2 of the 3 quests from each one. After you successfully complete the 3rd quest of one of them and go back to get your reward, the game advances the storyline (don't want to spoil it for you). Afaik it is impossible to turn in more than one of the 3rd quests for the reward.

Allrehm is the leader of the fire temple, and he hangs out in a closed room to the NW of his temple on lvl 2. The easiest/fastest way to meet Allrehm is to get recruited by Wat at the Hostel in Nulb.

Whoa. I had no idea this was a thing. This mod is awesome. If you don't mind me asking... do you know the rewards for each of the temples? I think I'll stick with Kelno of the Air temple, but we'll see.

Thanks for your incredibly useful info!

"FOOL! Don't you know that service for the glory of the Greater Temple is reward enough in and of itself?" ;D

Sorry, I've said enough already ;)

Well, if you really want to know (Spoiler alert)
All the rewards are the same: you get to meet the head honcho who runs things, and possibly he/she/it will show some interest in your "potential". If you are running an evil party, and want to see the "evil" ending vignette, this is the only way afaik.

The head honcho?! Huh. My party isn't evil unfortunately, but I could always try and see where it leads me. Don't mind spoilers, it's cool. Thanks again!
