...as in how do you get out of it? I'm playing the GOG version. I've killed the spiders and can't seem to find the leave map icon ... if there is one. I seem to be the only one with this problem so I must be missing something dead obvious. Is there a place you can walk off the map as in Baldur's Gate or is there an icon to click? Just can't find it. Thanks for any help given!

When outside, you can look at map and jump to a new location at any point. There's not always a visible jump point around and never for the world map.

This let's play has that map calling at 50s.
