Hey guys. I love TOEE and have enjoyed it for many years. I've never beaten the game. I would imagine I've made it 1/2 way through or so. The story never really was the highlight, it was the combat and dungeon faring. So I just never really cared to finish it.

I've mostly played vanilla. But I've played a little of the Co8 mod pack once, I think. But I'm not 100% sure.

Anyhoots, my main question: is the new content in the Co8 pack professional, good and seamless with the original content? I hate it when a bunch of bad artwork or sloppy text gets into the game and more or less ruins the overall product. But if it's all real good material, I think I'll get all the new content for my next playthrough. Maybe I'll care more about the story at that point if it's really really good. :)

Thanks!

It's excellent in my opinion. I'm about 40% of the way through, and the new zones are seamless, the art is exactly the same quality as the original stuff.

I finished the game vanilla a long time ago and also with a rather current version of Co8's mod and can recommend it. It fits seamlessly into the game and fills some gaps, where the original felt rushed. The game could still be better storywise, but as it is you will want to use this mod, especially if you've already played a good part of the vanilla version.

Thank you both for the prompt replies. I can only mark one as the solution and have done so. But +s for your all!

It looks like it'll be the full content install for me. Yay! I love new life to old games. Thanks guys!

No worries, you're welcome! Have fun with ToEE, but save regularly in different slots, so you're able to fall back if something gets corrupted. It can happen sometimes with or without the mod.

And don't save during combat. That's a very easy way to end up with corrupted saves.
