ModaL: Yeah, I saw it yesterday. Honestly for me it's mostly SP anyway so not much of a disappointment here :)
I doesn't really play online either, however would be awesome to play it with friends during the monthly LAN party alongside with UT2004. :)

Joruba: You can definetely play solo all the time.
Is there gonna be an update to version 1.0.92 here? And about those sneak peeks on steam - are you still into development of this game or moved on already?

Second those questions, but seeing how long your post lingers here, and how long it is since the patch hit steam, I'm afraid I know the answers already.

On Steam they are still speaking about new features but honestly they're completelly ignoring the suggestions. I'm really disappointed they dare to call it DRM free, yet it requires internet connection to play with others, no LAN, nothing other. They also seemingly not even check GOG.com.

Is the GOG version of this game up to date?

It's on sale now, and the price is tempting, but the fact that it's cheaper than on Steam is a bit fishy, it also doesn't list controller support, while the Steam version does. I bought Blood and Bold here on GOG instead of Steam, and as it turns out, the devs abandoned the GOG release...I'm concerned that might be happening here too.
I hate DRM, and I'd much rather get a DRM free version if possible, but I'd also rather not be screwed and put my money where it will be worth it.

The controller works for sure, I can prove that. However the GOG.com version is out of date since 3 months at least. On Steam I asked the devs and after a month they answered my question if they will ever update the GOG version. Now I paste-copy the message I got after that much time:

"Yes"

It is sad, I have a lot of fun with the game and really a nice one, just got no update on GOG yet. Also I would love to see a LAN option since most of my multiplayer experience comes from the LAN parties we hold times to times.

I saw on steam that there is a dlc named "Treasure Lands" which is not being sold on gog at the moment. Any plans of releasing this dlc and other furure extentions here. I own the game here and i will not buy it on steam.

The GOG version not even reach the Steam "DLC-less" version's build. I asked the devs multiple times since they answered once: "yes". This was half years ago. I asked only about the update not the DLC however.

Thanks for providing the informatio. These are bad news :(. I really hope the gog version will be updated soon and we will witness the release of the recent and future dlcs. :)

Me too. I'm unable to play with my friend because the non-updated game can't connect to the central server. If the game only have a LAN option I would not care about the versions. :)

Just in case people missed it:

It was on sale, no didn't get it (yet) as I was not sure about the game.

I just started it, but seems to be a rather good game, despite the reviews being given.....

Only thing I kind of miss, is a real saving system. In the moment, you have to quit, zip and restart......
Does anyone know if the devs are still reading here?

Ahoy there Tempest devs, if you're still calling into this port.

I just wanted to say that the only piracy in this game, is that there was a price charged for it. Sunken by broken save mechanics, it's utterly pointless playing and a waste of money.

I would say it worth $4-5 for the singleplayer part but it is yet bugged as others said. The online option is a mess and requires a complete rework.
