What does everyone think of the new classes?

I'm not sure about the Possessor, my first run with it wasn't all that successful.. but I think with a bit of practice it should be a fun class.

I absolutely love the new Rogue though. Old Rogues were one of my least favourite and least successful classes and I had never done well with them. The new Rogue is a bit of a beast. Traps seem better, and the Dagger Mastery a bit more useful. I love the Throwing Knives, really awesome skill (and would be a nice one for an adventurer seeing as it's a self contained skill set that doesn't need additional skills to be useful).
I still don't get the point of Stealth... but maybe I just use it wrong. I should probably just stop wasting points on it really..

The new Archer seems good too (though I didn't think the old one was too bad), auto firing Steady shot is pretty nice, and the new 'marking' system is interesting. Combining both bows and slings into one skill is good too.

I've mostly been trying out the possessor class, because its such a cool concept, with varying levels of success. So far I've found it to be a lot more fragile and finicky than I was expecting, which is not how I usually like to play. I was also really disappointed by none its talents being available to the adventurer class and the game consistently crashing when I try to take away that restriction. :/

In terms of the talents, I've had the the most success with going dual-wielding (Disruptor), skeleton, dex/will, Dagger Mastery and Light Armour. Lots of dex and the skeleton shield talent is great at keeping you alive, and making sure your bodies don't get harmed too much. Yeeks I also tried with it a couple of times, which made the water level way more fun as you hop between bodies for free underwater breathing, but the ritch tunnels became an endless-enemies, super-long-range-off-screen-hits, paaaaiiiiinnnnn to get through.

The class its theme is great though and going out to hunt for powerful bodies makes you feel like some sort of villainous pokemon trainer, plus it gives you a reason to take on enemies that might be beyond you, too, as you'll get a body that can carry you through entire sections if you play your cards right. It also adds some welcome flavour to the gameplay by adding something new to play for (get neat bodies) and not just new ways to punch - I'd like to see more classes do something like that.

Did another possessor run, with a dwarf (to counter balance the squishiness a bit). It was reasonably successful. I like being able to swap to a captured body when you're low on health to get you out of a bind.

I might try it with a Skeleton, they are basically my go to race anyway as they're so awesome.

I do like the idea of collecting bodies, and some of the talents are pretty good (though managing Psi usage is a bit tricky as it seems to drain very quickly).

On another note, I love the Cornac revamp, makes them a really useful race. One category point wasn't very useful for most classes, but getting extra generic and class points every five (or ten?) levels is really helpful.
I love the new Rogue, mostly because it gives me options outside of Stealth which I was never good at. Old Rogue was mostly one-note to me. Now I have poison throwing knives and even more defense than before, all these tools, cooler traps, all sorts of different options! I'm kinda meh towards new Dirty Fighting though.

Archer I'm indifferent to because I like both old and new (though I do like that both Slings and Bows get the same mastery talent now), but I'm curious about how both of these being rewritten helps or hurts Skirmisher, Marauder, and Shadowblade.

I'm playing a Shadowblade now, the rogue talents rewrite helps a bit, but it's still a really crap class. It's magic abilities are basically useless (to me anyway) so it's just a rogue minus their new extra abilities.
I'll have to give skirmisher a try, I've always liked that class. Haven't unlocked marauders yet, but I imagine they would benefit from some of it.
