warchickensteam: So there seems to be extras if you donate to the game creator. An extra screen tries to load when I hit level 10. But does not. Didn't I just pay this guy? I bought this game on GoG. Why doesn't it unlock all the features? Did GoG just sell me the free version of this game?
About Donation stuff, which you got by buying:
-Donations won't show up if the server is down, IE you can't login. One could argue about how DRM and the like works out here, but that's how it works.
-Make sure to redeem the code you get in your download screen over at te4.org with your login. May want to keep this bookmarked for addons.
-The donation screen will always pop up even after you have paid donations. The game runs off of them similar like an F2P game (and most of the game is free, just not donator stuff and DLC) so some donate more. You also get more space on your online item vault if you donate more money.
-To check if your donation stuff is visible, select a Dwarf when making a character and look at the Wilder metaclass. If you see Stone Warden there, they're enabled. You can also check your permadeath settings, if Exploration is there you have them.
