I've been waiting for the release of Take No Prisoners!

Though, as I experienced the same thing in the DEMO, that I can't open the PDA.

It's supposed to be bound on the Tilda Key, but I'm a Japanese and using a keyboard(and Tilda key is in different spot than other keyboards), so I can't just use it.
Options didn't let me change the keybind for that one.

I'm looking at the config file, and which Impulse is it supposed to be set for?

Obviously special keys in different keyboards do differ.

Spanish keyboard here and the tilde key is the one at the left of the "1" key.

If I am not wrong in the JIS japanese keyboard the tilde key should be stamped with the "0" (zero) key.

Tilda key is located two keys right of "0", and I tried it ingame but didn't work.
I tried some of the impulses rebound on other keys, but nope.

I have a joypad (8bitdo ultimate) but the game's not really suited for it, either.

Maybe try using something like Joy2Key or perhaps even AutoHotkey to remap the buttons to make the game think tilde is being pressed.

Hey, so I spent a few days looking into the game executable to see if I could figure out if there was a console command that can toggle it, and yes there is!
The console command you're looking for is sb_togglepdd. Since it can't be bound in the game options you'll need to add an entry for it in your userdef.cfg folder. Make sure you set the binding for both lowercase and uppercase characters. Personally I'd replace the F1 binding since ToggleHelp is pretty pointless.

Thank you, I bound "sb_togglepdd" on p/P key and now it works!

I had the same issue and with the proposed solution I can Open the PDT now, but I can't close it. Anyone got a clue what's up with that and how to fix it?

Update: Nevermind. The issue was that my chosen shortcut was one of the hardcoded quick keys for PDT tabs. Changing the key to P like above works fine (had it bound to L previously which is shortcut for the Link tab).
