You can play as male or female character, independent of your class of choice.

Oh and there are male, female and....other NPCs characters you will meet during your journey aswell ;-)

Are there skin color options too?

During char creation you can chose: gender, skin color, hair/beard style & color and tatoo style & color. A bit later you can also pick some outfit options. Just keep in mind that char creation(style is not really the selling point of this game and also it is still in development, so the aforementioned options are limited to a handfull of styles each ;-)
