There's quite a few post on the Steam forums to support my issue - the LT or hold left trigger to examine option isn't working when using controller (tried Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PS3). Unfortunately, there's no apparent fix. I'm hoping the developers will update us with a fix soon.

Has anyone else had issues with the GOG version?

I can confirm. Xbox One controller. Tacoma running on linux.

Super strange controller issues with PS4 controller Right stick doesn't work as intended (up/down move the camera left/right) and buttons seem erratic in their response (I didn't do extensive testing, I was playing in a zero-gravity environment and was getting quite nauseous).

The last update (14.12.2017) solved all my controller issues.
