So I started a game on the lower mission difficulty because it said it would show you a direction to go with waypoints and I wanted to see how this was implemented into the game. So far though I have not seen a single waypoint show up on either the map or compass. If this feature working for anyone else ? Also I can drop mission items when you are not supposed to be able to, Gonna guess this Mission 1 setting is not working. Noticed that areas on the map that are radiated would normally show up a different color, they do not show up in Mission 1 setting.

Is this about System Shock 1 remake or the original? I don't believe the remake has any waypoints. Also you can always drop any items at any time so I'm not sure you're even talking about System Shock.
In the interview on the GOG Twitch channel Stephen Kick said that waypoints in the remake will be added with a future patch.

It's about the remake.
There should be waypoints in the Easy difficulty level for Missions.
But there's not a single waypoint so far. I'm several hours into the game ("Research" level currently), and I also haven't noticed any waypoints so far.

Sorry, my bad I thought this forum was strictly for the remake :)

No it's my mistake I didn't even realize those were features of Easy mode.
