yeah, this is a save with the extra corruption. will take me a while to fix. tomorrow hopefully.

remtothemax: also, is there any word on actually fixing the game so this doesn't happen? because it seems fairly widespread.
I submitted the issue to GoG in an attempt to bring their attention over to it... but no word on a fix.

I'm encountering the same problem with SS2 on my Mac—stuck in the body of the Many, unable to enter water—and the GOG forums won't seem to allow me to post links. How else could I get my save files repaired?

upload to sendspace and when posting the link, leave only sendspace.com/file/xxx part. or even file/xxx would be enough.

it's the quicksave. also, finally a tiny speck of progress - the corruption happened somewhere between recreation save and command save (the rec save is ok, the one from command already corrupted).

the archive is corrupted - it should have at least a couple of MB, not 200kb. zip it up again, and reupload.

Same problem, died when trying to submerge in the pool, and now again in the many.

Thanks for doing this voodoo47! I hope these files get you closer to isolating the problem.
Also, not sure if this is useful to you or not, but I saved excessively, often within seconds of the previous save that I was overwriting. I wouldn't be surprised if I've overwritten the first save hundreds of times.

I'm giving voodoo some more rep just for fixing all these saves for people.

BTW, I've finally gotten around to trying this game. I'm not all the way through, but I'll keep an eye out for invincible hybrids.

they are more like ethereal really, but yeah, a save with them would be nice.
