remade by Night Dive in a new engine. I liked the idea, nice pics. What you guys think? Did you already know that?
darkredshift: Frak yeah! I think they should make the Citadel design a bit like the ARK from SA2 and Shadow (preferably the latter) considering of course that the Eclipse cannon was a Tachyon laser powered by the Chaos Emeralds.
I'd love to see what they do with improving the Colony interior in general. A fancy glass elevator from the deck 5 to 6 would be one.
Swimmable liquids like the sequel had; particularly in the groves as rivers and lakes through biodome jungle environments like Tomb Raider AOD's Strahov Biodome* meets Bioshock's Arcadia.
More cyberspace terminals would be welcome as they are my favourite part of the game. They also must keep the augmentations.
Maybe include homage secret levels to Deus Ex and Bungie's Marathon Trilogy. Not to mention Looking Glass/Ion Storm's tradition of Basketball court Easter eggs.
Deck 6 could have a casino with pinball and pachinko machine (not the same as slot machines) minigames for a chance to win bonuses like Ion Cadmium Batteries, medkits or Plasma rifles, like the slot machine from the Binding of Isaac but more fun. (I've always wanted to try real pachinko machines and those bonus games were good in Duke Nukem Forever, Sonic games and Isaac)
SHODAN's fight could be more than just wrestling with the camera and spamming the Pulser virus by chasing her through virtual cyberspace worlds based on other games like Sonic Adventure 2, Eternam, Bioshock and Strife.
That's only assuming they can get the licenses for the non- Night Dive game references though.
*Pod spider mutant boss from the former's boss foreshadow cutscene optional in Beta Grove* (Early incarnation of a creature that become part of the Many?)
From what I understand this will be a straight remake and most changes will be with the interface rather than with the level design or the gameplay.
