An early sign for SCP? :)
well, it never hurts to make all the popular mods SCP ready, right?

I try to release short progress videos here and there, will post one later today.

I'm looking forward to it!

That's just great! But how did you notice something was wrong in the first place?
the spiders were acting weird, trying to attack the player during a sequence that is supposed be just a vision of a place far away. then it was just a question of opening the editor, and seeing the incomplete script on the spiders, and the unused waypoints in the room. only had to enable the trigger, reconnect one waypoint, set their movement speed and suddenly everything works. also made the psi reavers float a bit, they were kind of too stationary.
Fascinating. How many of those little bugs did you actually find in the game?
insane amount. counting every little texture/obj tweak, hundreds, maybe more.
I'm not sure if this is all ready covered in this thread, but I scanned the SS2_tool before I ran it over at virus total, and it came up as backdoor for one of the antivirus:

I'm hoping it is a false positive. Either way, gog.com has latest version any how :D.

Also, out of your recommended/listed mods, which ones REQUIRE the SS2_tool?

the current GOG version of SS2 has no way of loading mods, so right now, ALL of them. already sent GOG an update which adds one mod autoload folder, but I don't think it has gone live just yet - hope it does soon, it also contains some cfg tweaks that are required for SCP.

also, yeah, false positive.

So I still need to use that "TOOL" to get the mods to load?
I did create the correct folder and structure and unzipped the mods into it, guess that's not enough I take it.
you also need to set the modpath in cam_mod.ini if you are determined to make your install mod friendly yourself.
