Hi voodoo47,

can I install the new version of the fourhundred mod (Acc_Fam_13) on top of the old 400 version or do I have to make a complete new mods install ?

Btw thanks for all your support to the SS2 community !
overwriting the old version with the new one should be enough.

the newest one is Acc_Fam_14, btw.

Thanks for the help voodoo47 and for the new version I wasn't aware of.

Should really update first post then
I installed the patch, then SS2Tool, then I downloaded all the mods on the mods spotlight in that order, then as soon As they were down loaded I dragged them into the Perminant mods folder and i don't think any of them worked. I dragged them all out and put them in a desktop folder to put in later. Does anyone know what I did wrong? also I downloaded all the tactacool weapon files

see "installing mods" in the first post of this topic, there are pictures that should how you should extract the downloaded archives.
I'm sure there not working, I think it has something to do with the fact that I don't have winrar

go get it then. or 7zip. if you are not able to extract, you won't be able to install mods.
I've downloaded, installed and patched the game like this guide suggests as well as installed the recommended mods. The game launches fine, but when I try to increase the resolution to 1920x1080 from the standard 640x480, I get a black screen and a background message telling me that "Your video hardware is not supported by System Shock 2." I'm running a Radeon HD 7870 and Windows 7 64-bit. Any idea what could be the issue?

Edit: I copied the installation folder over to my laptop running a GeForce 525M and Windows 7 64bit and it runs fine at 1366x768, so it's at least nice to know that if all else fails, I'll still be able to play this game.

After a bit of crashing, it now works! Took a few tries but I'm now in-game at the correct resolution. Thanks a lot! For future reference, what exactly was the problem?
not sure - looks like windows messing up somewhere when trying to switch to 1920*1080. might be a gpu driver thing.

try to be more specific with "after a bit of crashing" - did the cfg I've shared work right away? if not, what did you do to get it running?
