Game immediately crashes when transitioning from level 3 Maintenance to Level 5 Flight Deck. Devs in discord said it'll be fixed in the next patch. However, it's worth mentioning that some computers with old Operating Systems, like mine (win 7), can experience this crash and prevent the player from progressing.

As much I hate to say it, Win7 is getting left in the dust and you will start to see this a lot more in the near future to those who keep trying to eke out it's existence. After that it's going to be spit and duct tape to get games to work properly if at all on 7 :(

I understand that Windows 7 is dying and not supported in many new games. However, this game has Windows 7 within its system requirements. Therefore, I expected no OS related issues while playing it. I didn't dig too deep, but this particular crash is a pretty widespread issue. The devs just need to keep unsupported operating systems off their system requirements page. That way i'd have no reason to mention this.

The heck you talking about? The System Shock 1 remake SUPPORTS Windows 7. This is entirely a developer oversight that will be fixed in the next patch for this game.

For what it's worth, I just wanna update and mention that this crash no longer occurs on the "1.1.17082" patch (for me, at least).
