I read that SS2 owners would see a 40% discount rather than the 20% everyone else sees. Alas, this doesn't work for all the SS2 owners. You see I'm an SS2 owner OF THE ORIGINAL RETAIL BOX (purchased "Back in the Day") as I'm sure many others may be also. I didn't get SS1 then (BitD) due to RL demands of my time and money. Anyway, for those of us in this situation I wonder if there would be an acceptable way to prove to GOG we are indeed SS2 owners and therefore be able to benefit?

(OK. I had to ask, didn't I? Due Diligence and whatnot.)

I don't think any at GOG cares if you have the box or not. The deal is clearly for website only. It is not exactly a badly priced game either. Stop trying to get money off an already good deal.

it should be obvious that youll get the discount only if you own system 2 @ gog ;P

but yeah i own the original system 2 too ... i really wonder why i havent got a double discount XD
