Not sure what exactly happend and I haven't been able to reproduce it, but in the first cyberspace area, I tried shooting the "face" enemy and suddenly the game disappeared. No crash message, no anything, just suddenly staring at my desktop.

Oh, no -- the game has linked itself to your system! That cyberguardian you shot was probably the game executable. That SHODAN's a tricky one.... ;P

I just experienced this too actually. Got to the first cyberspace area and came up to the floating red face and I tried to find the button to shoot. Then the game just shut off and since I didn't save I lost 20-30 minutes of gameplay.

It wasn't a crash. No popup, and no traces in the event log about it.
