Integrated graphics or not it doesn't matter, it's just a question of choosing a rendering library from within the game, you can use Vulkan on an IntelHD chip if I'm not mistaken, so if the trick works no refunds are necessary.

So, I decided to replay 2 for the first time, and it worked well, I went all the way to the second half of the Med level.
However, after closing the game while I went to eat something, when I try to open it, it gives the message "Your video hardware is not supported by System Shock 2" despite the fact that it was working perfectly.

Any solution to it? I hope it's not as bad as the one I'm having with Deus Ex GOTY, where it became unplayable when I tried to play again.

get the GMDX mod, it will also install the updated renderers iirc, which are pretty much mandatory nowadays.

Not sure if this is where i should post this but ive ran into a minor audio bug in the remake. i died in the elevator in the initial mutant ambush at research after opening the doors. respawned in medical with the elevator music still playing on loop.
Loop stops when getting into and out of the elevator again, so its not that much of a bother but still. i doubt its intended to get the music out of the elevator.

On a minor note, since the mutants that killed me were in the elevator and i recalled the elevator and went up where they were, i think i heard them get crushed (or maybe despawned) after i went back to research. kinda funny ngl.

Hey there, just played the game for two hours and it´s awesome.There are some things you should look into though.
I´m playing with a controller and when i go through the docs and audios i cant scroll down the text. Also when i want to go back to the overview of data and audio, i can only leave the inventory instead of just going back to the overview. The same thing goes for puzzels. When i Press B on my Controller i shoul stop/cancel the puzzel but it won´t. It only leaves the puzzel if i press LB or RB. Also running is kinda difficult if you have to press down the left thumb stick while moving forward :P. Just wanted to let you know about that. As i said before i am loving the game ;), first time playing the Series.

No support for non-QWERTY keyboard, which makes it impossible to play.

I don't recommend to install a QWERTY keyboard in Win10/11, because it often messes up the language configuration by installing unwanted languages, locales and keyboard layouts. It's usually followed by untimely layout switches in apps and in the welcome screen. From experience, even the MS support has a lot of pain to solve the problem (last time they couldn't).

Just installed the remake. It starts up them freezes with a black screen. Any solutions?

Achievements not working, none of them.

That and you can't even get the GOG Overlay to show up, no matter what.
I dealt with the same problem. I got around basically by immediately pressing Esc once out of cyberspace and immediately saving my game. The game still crashed afterwards but my save file was still good. Still, this problem needs to get fixed pronto.

Bugs I encountered in the remake:
- combat not ending (suicide solution helped)
- cybernetics are switched off after reloading a savegame (i.e. not in the state they should be)
- cybernetics constantly drain energy but cannot be switched off or on (even after going to zero energy and using a battery) Solved by reloading an older savegame
- message by Jaco van Dyk "KS-Saturn Hope" can be found at least twice
- message by Bianca Schuler "Capture" can be found twice
- message by Dana Hunter "She left me" has no subtitles (audio plays fine)
- cannot pick up items in the commons/recreational area on the security level (one gun and one message on the tables)
- context menu of the cybernetics on the right side are outside the screen
- using reload while holding the plasma rifle uses a battery (instead of doing nothing)
- ending credits cannot be stopped/interrupted
- no achievements at all
