I just got to Research in the remake and I haven't seen a single cheevo notification, nor are they showing up in Galaxy. I know I've had to have at least gotten "Look at you, snacker" and the recycling one so what gives?

Can confirm that they aren't working for me either. GOG Galaxy is tracking play time only.

This is why this site will always be second rate because they can't or won't get basic features to work on a consistent basis. In addition to the achievements not working I really don't understand why the overlay isn't setup for this title.

I can also confirm the achievements are not registering for me either. This is the 1st game I have played on GoG that I even care about them lol.

GoG support told me that they are working and they see other players obtaining achievements. So problem is probably on our side ;O
I did reinstall GoG and game, tried to launch GoG + Game with Firewall and AV disabled but no change.
To me it looks like we missing some Visual C++ package.

Achievements don't work neither on my PC. Neither do any overlays, be it GOG, Discord or Nividia. Since this only happens with System Shock Remake, I rather think it's a bug with the game.

I've tested differemt game. Overlay works, manage to get one achievement as well.
So for me its +1 that issue is with the game.

Btw, did anyone noticed that once you start game it requests connection to Steam?

The overlay isn't listed as a game feature for this title on the store page that's why it doesn't work which is weird to me. I understand old games not having that but every game that gets released now should have it by default.

Good to know it wasn't only with me, I got the Wench and noted it didn't unlocked any achievement.
