Replying to say I figured out a solution. Go to the Graphic Mode Setup in the folder for DosBox and set it to Direct3D. Other configurations may work, but now I'm running it under that graphics option. You'll find this folder under GoG in All programs, under the Syndicate folder.

ive also just found running the exe under windows xp compatibility seems to solve the issue as well

I have having the same problem, none of the solutions work for me. When I go to the graphic setup when I click the 'OK' button it tells me I don't have the game installed even though it is and I used to default settings. HELP!?

Yup, same here. And graphic setup does not register the game... Windows 7 64bit here...
Just figured it out. Install somewhere else apart from your default x32 program files folder. Then it works.

Glad to see you guys found the workaround. Just to clarify (and I'm basing this off dandead's support ticket) could you guys try installing Syndicate through "Run as Administrator" first?

I'm a bit short on technicalities... How does one "install through 'run as an administrator'"?
Or run it as administrator?

I had this prob and found a dead easy way to fix it (for windows 7 at minimum lol).

Go to the Start menu and open the GoG.com folder. Open the folder with Syndicate and click on the 'Graphic mode setup' icon. Click yes. Click Advanced Settings. Click the box next to "Keep Aspect Ratio". Save settings. Start game.

Worked for me but I don't know if it's just me or not.
