Seriously, some sort of info would be nice, seeing how GOG seems to unceremoniously dump these patches for the newer games. There's no word on it on GOG, the games official website, ECS's site or even their twitter/facebook other than one single mention that they were working on some sort of update.

Remember the time when updates came with release notes and such? Yeaaaah...

I second this confusion.
Things I have spotted the patch doing so far :-

* The Game doesn't crash when I click play.
* My full music library scans in about a minute instead of twenty.
* Enemy bullets are far more distinct from the background and your own shots.
* Control stuttering has been massively reduced.

Though a full change log would be appreciated.

This, Great update, fewer cheap deaths, still die but it now feels more honest.
I noticed the leaderboard being offline though I was logged in or whatsoever. I am not really sure what's going on. Edit: It was my firewall...

Now that I finally got a chance to try out the patched version, I totally agree. That black circle around the bullets makes a huge difference. That's also the only thing I had a problem with in the initial release. So all's good on my end then. :)

This is all I could find....

Symphony Update Released

- Game crashing fixed
- Small enemy bullets highlighted to make them stand-out more
- 4th Boss is less difficult
- Various smaller fixes/changes
What I did noticed is that fortissimo is a lot less hard. Still very difficult but not as extreme as it used to be. Or I am picking the right songs.

It's the same difficulty, the bullets are just more visible.

Hmm okay, maybe that explains it.

Hey guys,
I'll try to give a more detailed update, but usually, the items you REALLY care about are the ones we focus on. For example, the next update will allow you to upgrade your weapons in the Ship Edit screen when you click on a slot to change (that long, weapon list). And then there are some misspelling corrected, but honestly, I don't think you care as much about that as the ship edit change :)

Just noticed a bug. Beat the final boss (Huray! xD ) it gave me approx. 100k inspiration and 300k as showed on the screen, but now it doesn't go away. Everytime I finish any other song it shows the same amount of inspiration and kudos 100k and 300k BUT I do get the "real" amount I would get, I just don't see it, it just doesn't update.

Hey tennpnenny, yes, this is a visual display bug in the results screen. If you click it will "skip" through, but report the incorrect amount of reward. You DO get the reward, however (just check the next screen). We will fix this asap...
