My game freezes as Dana Roze climbs the steps to the main sqaure at the very beginning of the game.
A cut screen appears and reminds me to look for undiscovered items. Thats when it freezes
This has happened at least 3 times, I've rebooted and loaded a 'new' game each time. But no luck.
Anyone else having this issue?

I have seen a curious phenomenon just at that point. At the moment the freeze happens to you, I have seen that there is a flickering of the shadows. As if they were deactivated and then activated again. It is very possible that there is some post-processing problem that makes the game hangs. Try disabling the shadows or reducing their quality to the maximum to see if you can continue at that point.

By the way, I have Win7 SP1 and nVidia GTX 1070

Hey, Thank you for your reply, so very interesting thing happened, I accidently hit my 'Enter' button on keyboard as I
was clicking the mouse to 'close', and guess what it worked so for my game I need to hold down the enter button whenever I click the mouse, not a huge deal, but who knew??
