I am on Win 7 64bit and I was up to part 3 in the game - in the space station with the drunk pilot.

The Microid splash plays and the Syberia intro crashes part way through. There is a memory error warning and a few frames of the intro and music plays but the error occurs again.

I thought it had something to do with GOG Galaxy but it happens if I run the game exe directly too.

ScummVM now supports Syberia 1 and 2.
You just need to download ScummVm there https://www.scummvm.org/downloads/
And follow the instructions to add the game https://wiki.scummvm.org/index.php?title=Syberia

Tested with Syberia 1 and 2 installed with GOG on Ventura under an M2.
