I am stuck after the boat lands at Baranour. The cutscene plays with Kate saying she needs to check for radiation, then it pays a similar speech where she says the captain told her there are goggles on the ship (this didn't happen on my playthrough). Then the screen shows Kate and the Youkols looking out, and then nothing else happens. The snow is falling and background music is still playing, so the game hasn't frozen. The autosave point is when Kate wakes up, so I can't do anything else when I re-start. I'm playing in windowed mode with graphics speed fast.

Can you walk and talk to the Youkols? If you can, go look for the googles, then you can explore the park.

No, I can't click anything. I had a similar problem when talking to the mayor, but I chose different options another time and it didn't stick.

Most unfortunate, best bet to continue from a manual save point.
Maybe you can verify the installation first and see does it help.
Syberia 3 is not that stable and crash from time to time in my playthrough. It is recommended to save often with different slots.

I have the same problem.

Unfortunately there is not possible to save the game manual :( Only autosave is available.

After the automatic scene, the game freezes, doesn't respond to anything

Same issue here :(

I have exactly the same problem. :-(
Installed on another PC with older hardware. And there is exactly the same problem.

I also tried the saved-games-zip from Microids website.

It loads the save point before the boat lands at Baranour. And the later save points. But does not load the save point when the boat landed at Baranour.

-> GOG version of Syberia 3 is not playable.

What a mess. :-(

I never managed to solve the problem, I just watched a play-through of the rest of the game on YouTube. It was a shame as Syberia 1 & 2 are great.
Let's start by saying that something isn't right about all this. We purchase a good, and we should not be forced to discuss what and how to enjoy it. Both Microids and Gog should be ashamed. Microids because it market a game full of bugs, Gog because it sell it despite knowing it.
In any case: for me too the game crashes irremediably as soon as I arrive in Baranour. The video freezes after Kate talks about glasses to see radiation, and there's no way out of it.
I haven't found any solution online for this big bug, other than to work around it like this:
download a list of saved games, locate the one closest to Baranour's arrival, replace it in my PC's saved games folder, and continue playing.
I found the saves on savegame.pro. I tried loading the saves during the crossing of the ship, when Kate faces the monster, but none of them loaded correctly. I had to settle for a save where Kate had already put on radiation glasses, but at least I could continue playing.
But I repeat: Microids and Gog should be ashamed for forcing those who support them financially to struggle in this way just to use an asset that is paid for regularly and which should work right away.
I started to replay Syberia 3, it crashed, and somehow I fixed it.
While not at the same spot as you guys, maybe you can take a try.

Here is where the game crashed and how I fixed it.
Crash:
Leaving Youkol camp, going into Valsembor.
After the scene of Kate walking away from the checkpoint, the game crashed.

Fix:
Reduce Graphics quality from "Beautiful" to "Good".
It continues the game from Valsembor.
To make sure it is about the graphic quality, I quit the game immediately, I quit the game and restart it at Beautiful again. And it crash exactly again.

Maybe you guys can try to lower the graphic setting and see if the game can continue.
