I just bought sword of the stars the pit gold edition, but when i try to install either of the downloads, the say I need the gog base game to play.
so is the base game not included in the pit gold edition?

It is but there's a bug that's affecting that bundle. Please write to Support about this very issue and we'll take care of everything. Thanks :)

How long does it take support to respond generally? I sent in a ticket last night more than 12 hours and expected a response by now. Not being able to play the game on my weekend is kinda off putting.

Reading your responses only furthers my conviction that we should hold off on purchasing the game until this bug is resolved. My hope is, as per my post in this sub forum, that they extend the sale by a day or two as a goodwill gesture.

im still waiting for the original game to turn up but if it doesn't ill just download it from thepiratebay never thought i would have to do that with a GOG game

Figured I'd join the same thread since we're all in the same boat.

There's nothing like paying $9.74 (£6.10) for a game you want to play on your relaxing Sunday off to then discover the webmasters have messed up the code and all you can do is stare at 4 avatars and read a manual for the 'Mindgames' DLC.

What's then insult to injury is that I still can't play it after a full 'working' day!
If it was a boxed product and you'd run out of stock, or your courier was on strike, then I'd understand. This however is a digital download, so where the hell is my download link?

Two support tickets sent and still no reply, let alone an apology.
Come on GOG, "Throw me a frickin' bone here!".

It is getting pretty annoying. We haven't heard anything from GoG other than it's a bug of some description.

Very disappointed, hope tomorrow i'll have at least a response from the support.
Errors like this are not included in gog refund policy too..
