It's a National Holiday.

In Cyprus? Yeah I don't think so.

Actually it's a Polish company, it was a national holiday in Poland on Monday, but still, I don't think that anyone in the world should have to keep track of holidays in a company's country of origin before making a purchase. That's not how it works and it's not an excuse. All people should care about is that they can't play or even download a game a few days after purchase, and we should get compensated for it. This is totally unacceptable.
I have the same problem as everyone else here, with no access to the base game after downloading the Gold Edition.

I purchased the game approximately 29 hours ago, and I opened a ticket approximately 28 hours ago.

I have not yet had any reply to my initial ticket, and so I opened another one about 10 mins ago.

I am a little disappointed that I have not had a response to what is obviously a known problem.
I would rather hear something along the lines of "we are aware of this problem and it will be rectified asap" (or even better, an approximation of how long until it will be fixed), rather than be kept waiting in the dark for so long.

I am disappointed that GOG did not put a disclaimer on the sale page stating that the game is not immediately available upon purchase due to a bug, when (after wasting an hour searching for the information on the forums), it was obviously already a known issue.

*EDIT: while I was posting this, I received an email with a code to redeem the game, along with an apology. Much appreciated GOG.

Happy for you man, but I still haven't heard a thing and I'm sure other people still have issues. And, yes, I have send in a support ticket. Two days ago.
Come on GOG, I love you guys, but this is just starting to get ridiculous!
Still, no answer - third day after purchase. This was ridiculous yesterday, now it's just sad...

Yup im in the same boat, send in a support ticket, followed it up and still nothing. At this point they should be able to just add it to my account instead of sending me a code since they should be back from their days off. This is my first purchase from GoG but it might be my last if this keeps up.

Yeah and the fact that they're just staying silent is very worrying. Not even "sorry for the wait guys!". Seriously, this is not an issue that should take that long to fix, one way or the other...

EDIT:

While just randomly clicking around, I found a solution to the problem!

Go to the Support tab, click Website FAQ and then go down to the very bottom of the page to:

10. (temporary website glitch) Games not displayed in 'My Account'

And click the refresh link that is provided there. I didn't just post the link so people wouldn't get suspicious. :)

Still - no help from GOG staff is pretty bad, but at least now I can play.

Of course not. GOG screwed up major on this. They're a DD site and the download wasn't working. Personally, I think they should have paid whomever OT to come in Saturday and/or Sunday to fix this.

Still this is GOG. I fully expect them to make it right.

Me too. I'm not personally affected, but I'm disappointed on behalf of the rest of you. I really don't want gog to shoot themselves in the foot on this.

I know it's hard because they're not a big company. If the only three guys who can fix it made travel plans, then maybe there's nothing they could do. I don't really know what the full story is, but I can easily see that kind of thing being the case.

If GoG can do something for the rest of you above and beyond fixing the original orders - even if it means having to compensate developers to swing it - then I hope they do.

Thank you so much! It helped me, now I can also download the base game.
I'm having problems with this as well - I ended up purchasing the base game, then Mindgames, then Gold (when I realised you needed Gold for Mindgames - or whichever way around it was :( ). The base game installs and plays fine, but when I try to install either of the DLC I get "The core game was not detected. Please install the GOG version, or indicate the non-GOG version's folder in the Options screen" message. All purchases are from GOG. Has this been fixed yet?
I recently purchased Sword of the Stars: the Pit and all the DLC individually recently (a day or two after the insomnia sale ended). I had a problem with installing the DLC at first (similar problem with detection), but then I uninstalled the base game and just re-installed everything and it worked.
Should be an option to keep your savegames when uninstalling too.
