HI,

I was rummaging around and found a Computer Gaming World Demo cd from 2000.
It has the swat 3 demo on it.

I installed the demo and it seems to run fine on my computer (except for some light flickering here and there).

Now, I am interested in buying the full game from GOG.

However, GOG recommends having a 3D card which I do not have...
(again, the demo version seems to run fine even on high detail and max resolution--with some minor flickering of light sources)

My specs:
Lenovo t500 laptop
Windows Professional 7
Directx 11
Ram 2GB
Video: 780mb (Mobile Intel 4 Series express chipset family)

Will swat 3 close quarters or GOTY run on my computer?

Thanks,
Sayers

(BTW, hitman 2 ran perfectly on this computer--played and won the whole game)

Sreyas73: HI,

Hi Sreyas, SWAT 3 is old enough that your machine is more than powerful enough to run it even without a dedicated video card (far more powerful actually). You're also running windows 7 so you shouldn't run into the problem that many Windows 8 users have been reporting with very bad performance. If the demo ran fine, than this should run exactly the same. Hope this was helpful.
