When i try to host an online multiplayer match with my friends i get an "Invalid CD key" error. :(
Lan via Hamachi or so works fine, but would be better if it worked like any other game with direct connect...

Don't forget of make a safety copy of your original files before!

You still get the error when trying to host as a listen server. Has been that way for years. You have to host it as a dedicated still. :(

You are able to let Dedicated running and relaunch Swat client, then connect to your own dedicated server @ IP 127.0.0.1

are actually dedicated servers.

That's very common I run a dedicated server and invite some mates to test some admin mod than upload to clan host everytime that I change some file.

Just be sure about your external IP, forward ports, and run it as LAN, if you are not using any "Public Server Patch" yet.

I know. I used to run servers for the game for a few clans and personal use. It's just sad that bug still hasn't been fixed.

Im a little confused you guys. If I host a dedicated server it only shows up in the Lan list not the full server list. I dont see how people can connect to my lan server especially if im giving them a Lan connection like 192.168.0.1 or whatever it will be.

What am I not understanding here
