Has anyone been able to get any mods to work with the GOG version of SWAT 3? I downloaded a bunch more (skins, uniforms, etc.) and placed them in the mod folder and activated them in the mod manager like the instructions say, but nothing shows up in game in the custom missions where they should be. Any ideas?

I fixed it, make sure mod selection window is running in compatibilty mode for windows xp, and make sure you have full rights to edit the swat 3 mod folder.

Great for setting up the game settings and the mod manager is very useful !!!!

For swat 3 mods

Also there are a number of SWAT 3 mods and maps here

But to download some of the files you will have to register on the site.

I tried running Last Resort but it gave me an error message reading "run-time error 9" after the first time. Is it a compatibility issue with Win8 or something?

Mods only work in LAN games. They don't work in the story campaign mode.

I made the Last Resort mod and Windows 8 is strange. You can get the Last Resort launcher to run properly by setting it to Windows 7 compatibility mode. Windows 8 doesn't seem to allow me to save the settings file for launcher in the same folder that Swat 3 is installed to. It seems to put the file in a different location and this freaks out the launcher.

Yeah, I eventually had to change back to Win7 and it works just fine now.

Thanks. I have had a new version sitting on my hard drive for over a year and just never got around to packaging it up and uploading. I have been busy with work and when I wasn't GTA5 sucks up my time.

I hope to release it this winter though, honest!
