Look at the new rainbow six siege. There's so many things wrong there, that I'm not even talking about it T_T
Don't get me wrong, it's a fun and good game, but it's not a "Rainbow Six".

You might want to look for Ground Branch (http://www.groundbranch.com/) and Epsilon (http://store.steampowered.com/app/300760/).
Both are pretty neat, I'm looking foward for the complete version of them (especially Ground Branch, I've been following the development for about 3 years now).
Just be careful because both of them are early access.

Hmm, might look into Epsilon in the future, as I do love tactical shooters, but I want my swat simulator damn it! :)

Can't say I hold much hope for that one but someone has to try bring the more tactical FPS back, I quite enjoy what I've played of Epsilon but I'm more of a co-op guy so waiting on that.

Well, I enjoy a good co-op too (especially LAN), but if the game have a decent single player mode, it's enough for me :D

I wish! I have read an interview with Irrational Games, where they were very clear about it. It's in German, but let me translate the important bits:

- It's unlikely, that Irrational Games will ever return to the SWAT-Series
- The publisher asked, if we wanted to make SWAT 5, but we didn't know what to make out of the SWAT universe storywise
- We did experiment with another SWAT Game, but we really didn't know what to make out of it
