Does anyone know what constitutes body armor and where to get it. The ghouls in the bank giving me some trouble and I don't think my regular suit is going to cut it. Thanks in advance.

As far as I can tell there are no armors in this game and from what I've heard you can't increase your primary attributes , which means that you might end up with a character that has a low Hit-point value .

Attributes that affect your characters's Hit-pints (which that game refers as simply Health) are Physique and Will.

Perks that help you with Physical Defense and extra Hit-points are available on level ups ; Dodger adds 1 to Physical defenses and Tough gives you 2 additional hit points.

Also keep in mind that your Survival skill grants you Damage resistance (and other bonuses) which lowers damage received by a flat amount.

Some drugs can also temporary grand you Attribute bonuses , Ampheta-man grants you 2 points in Agility and Physique and Adrenaline Shot makes it so your Health can't drop below 1 (the effect is temporary tho).

The Face of Rahu artifact also grands increased physical defense while the Blood of St.Mercurius makes you immune to bleeding.

With a Physique of 7 and a Will of 3 my charter has 60 Health at level 4 and my Physical defense are 6+1 ( from Dodger) since I have an Agility score of 7 and my Senses are at 3.

I'd make sure to use a full party (three companions + a henchman, e.g. the spaniard).

My aristocrat had a 1 in firearms and a weak-ish pistol, but had no real problems with the ghouls (the butler companion plus the spaniard did most of the work, and the Outsider's spit did the rest - my PC mainly took pot shots and maybe used the occult spit once or twice).

Also if you have AP left over and you can't attack, clicking "defend" helps - most of the hits on my guys were grazes, except the occasional shot from behind.
