Hi all,

If you're a French speaker and you've noticed something was a little off with your French version of Stronghold Crusader Extreme HD, worry no more as we have fixed the "no French voices" bug. Apparently, there was a slight error in our language setup utility and this is now fixed. Please make sure you download setup_stronghold_crusader_extreme_hd_2.2.0.8.exe if you are a French speaker to ensure you have French voices once again.

Didn't have French voices working in the mac with the folder change alone. Maybe GOG will get to an update at some point . . . along with Stronghold HD for mac.

Scratch what I said above . . . change the folder name "speech_fr" to "speech_f" before you use the language selector. Then it will work. That folder is in the "fx" folder inside the game directory. Show package contents until you get to it. (content\resources\the game there\drive_c alias\GOG Games\"Game directory"\fx to get to the folder).

Remember to make the change before you choose French.

I don't really know why I care since I will only use English but enjoy!
