Does anyone know if we are able to use d input controllers. We currently have 2 xinput pads and wanted to play 4 player mode.

In my case, the only gamepads seen are the 8BitDo in Switch mode.
In x-input and d-input mode these are not detected... Have you tried ?
It always worked for many games, but in this case it seems not working.
EDIT:
x360ce works, but must be set to use "xinput1_4.dll" (by default it uses xinput1_3.dll)

My Logitech F310 works, but in XInput mode. I have wired 360 and wired XB1 controllers, but just roll with the F310. Same when I play the DotEmu releases of Neo Geo games.

Thanks for the responses. I just want to confirm that there is no generic controller remapping within the game at the moment, is that correct?
Other people say that there is a way to layout the controllers in PS, Switch or Xbox setup. Does that mean it also accepts these controllers or just the layout of the buttons?
