Is there a gama manual? I have never played gthis series and would like to browse through a manual briefly. Thanks!

Yes, the games come with Manuals, and especially with our more recent games* you can find videos players have made on youtube.
*Strategic Command: WWII War in Europe and Strategic Command: WWII World at War
One word of caution about those is that many are made by people just learning the game from scratch, though that can certainly be useful too!

Usually when a game has a manual with it, it's in the drop down menu on the game page. There isn't one for Strategic Command WW1. I have also ran searches and not come across anything official. I am not even finding anything, official or not, online.

While playing, the Manual should be accessible from a button on the right of the screen, it's the fourth one from the bottom.
If for any reason that doesn't work, if you go to where the game itself is installed you should find the Manual within a Manuals folder. Perhaps then make a shortcut on your desktop to it for future reference so it's easy to access it while playing.
