I always wanted to play this game but never got around to it and when I eventually did it had completely disappeared so I am naturally super excited to see it's back again.

Does anyone happen to know if it has any controller support for pc?

According to pcgamingwiki it doesn't have controller support..Maybe someone else that owns the game can confirm it just to be 100% sure.

Okay, yeah I had a feeling that might be the case, oh well, good thing I have xpadder just in case as I'd prefer to use a controller for a game like this one.

Has anybody got xpadder working with it, it works for most old games i have, but not this one sadly

I don't know about xpadder but it works fine with AntiMicro:

im not super good with this kind of thing ive set it up and moved the file into the stranglehold folder but when it loads it doesnt detect anything or move like i want it to on my controller

Who did tell you to do so? I just testet AntiMicroX (https://github.com/AntiMicroX/antimicrox) because the original isn't maintained anymore. It seems that you have to set up your controller and leave AntiMicroX running. Works for me. I don't see any magic that reads configurations from a game directory and starts AntiMicroX automagically.

joy2key cost money but was easy to use, steam has a custom controller modifier
