victorchopin: Such a game. No words can describe it. I (pardon me) got through the fine lid, the tippiest of tips, the 1% of its gist and I'm enamoured by everything contained there. Merely 3h into it and I'm hooked. This is something other than Primordia, bear in mind. Or isn't it? Effing awesome, coming from a Primordia (aka best pnc of the last decade) fan, first things first.
So... I digress. Multiple endings, and multiple ordeals, and multiple pathways and... and... ouch. So much to do. Thankfully the story's so damn appealling I... can't say no more: go play it.
Everything I was waiting for in the genre. If you're on the fence 'bout it, don't. Just dive in lay your bricks but to it one by one. Calling it magnum opus of these grim times we live in is a no-brainer, hah.
c y'all
WormwoodStudios: Your kind words have patched up some wounds left by other reviews. Thank you so much. :D
Wish I could -and I mean it!- spoil this wonderful game to others but I sincerely won't. Wish I could spread the word beyond my borders (aka 2 or 3 friends + my brother who's also a huge Primordia fan). Make this thread, average gog adventure fan, my personal "review".
There's not a single piece of it I dislike and I'm being honest to the bone which is something I rarely am regarding these type of games. I always let "something go by". Not this time. We're talking AAA point n click material, a term I personally dislike.
Not only (quite a feat!) that, but this game got me locked, butt in chair, thinking, trying my best, not trying my best, chilling out, focusing, having AAA quality time, which I did, to be blunt here. The list goes on.
Oh here's me saying those nasty triple letters once more.

Not a single line of this (drumroll) masterpiece of a dialogue, enthralling character design, superb art, eerie tunes or whatever you wanna call it isn't appealing to me. Maybe I'm too mature? Too dumb? Maybe I wasn't expecting much? Perhaps that's not your thing. Maybe it's some sorta passage or phase (insert overused cliché here) of life I'm going through? Again, here I stand, daydreaming once more, much like our main hero, let's call him that way.
Not into the Primordia bandwagon? Fine. Primordia is almost a decade old. GOG helped me get into it. I saw it among hundreds of its kind. I wasn't part of the Strangeland gang to begin with; heard about the game on their blog but that was years ago. Then, found it bookmarked next to a link with some old photos of kids from Honduras smoking cigars (I thought it looked cool), clicked (wow! strangeland! yesss!), saw screens and followed a bit of its development. Wish I had more time... ah, yep, kids growing up.
But here I am, years later. As the poet says, the "patient man rides donkey".
I'm probably and not just metaphorically oceans away from you mr dev but the least I can do is praise this work of art. I salute you and everyone involved.

edit for spelling errors only since I felt like, uh, writing as if I was Toscanini conducting ;P
