Can somebody tell me which version of the game this here is? Is it the newest release?
I also like to know if there are other subtitles than english included. Since the Steam version does have mulltiple languages as subtitles included and GOG only states english on the game card.

Since this seems to be a thread of great interest ;) I'll answer the question myself (the devs have answered me):

It is NOT the newest release here on GOG and the game does NOT include German subtitles. The devs wanted to update the GOG version but they have bigger things on their plate at the moment so it might take a while or not happen at all.

As it was said in the quoted post, the German subtitles (and probably other languages) were missing from the GOG version then but this does not seem to be the case anymore according to the gamecard. So it was updated meanwhile and this issue has been resolved.
