This is one of three games I recently acquired that have broken controller support on Linux. This one just crashes with my
dualshock 4 plugged in, and ignores it completely if I use xboxdrv to replace it with an xbox-like controller. Looking at the startup messages, I will try one other thing tonight,. Fortunately, it can mostly be controlled by keyboard for now.

edit: my idea of filtering the input devices to only the controller only succeeded in getting the game not to segfault with my controller plugged in. I guess YoYo Games is to blame for this garbage, and I will probably never get it to work. What a colossal waste of time.

But the game doesn't even have a controller support~
It will only be added next year or so.

OK, I guess you got me there. Of course if you had replied, rather than posted, I might have noticed your response sooner. In any case, this game crashes when my ds4 is plugged in, unless I filter out the extra devices. It's also one of two games that behave the same way, because both use the YoYo Games Linux Runner V1.3. The other such game displays "best with controller", so it definitely should support a controller, but doesn't. I can't tell "doesn't work" from "isn't supposed to work", so I assumed the same here. I expect that once the game does get controller support, it won't work on Linux, just like the other game I have.
