Hi everyone!

Searching for some savegame editing tools, I noticed a few people here either were asking for an editor, or either just saying "I'm using UGE". Combining that UGE is not so easy to download as was in the past, with the need of also the specific Stonekeep module, I thought it would be of interest to zip it and share it here...

So, UGE 1.0 with the Stonekeep module: blog.kartones.net/post/uge-universal-game-editor-plus-stonekeep-module/

I've tested it with my saves and GOG version and not a single problem. For it to work you'll need Dosbox as it is a pure MS-DOS tool

Hope it helps!

Hey all,

I just happened to be writing a save editor for Stonekeep when I found this thread. I've written a couple before, but right now I have two on my Wordpress blog, one for Anvil of Dawn and the other for Stonekeep. I got sick of all the module utilities and MS-DOS only editors, so I wrote my own. You can find it here:

https://saveeditors.wordpress.com/2016/08/17/stonekeep/

Unfortunately no inventory editing, it's really complicated to implement because of how Stonekeep deals with items on the map + items in inventory. Anyway, Enjoy!

Thanks kartones and shaneharro1 ! :)

Ooc, how do I start UGE? I tried to run it in a command prompt but it says "not compatable" with my windows7.

Edit: Oh seems to be incompatible with 64 bit windows?

Hi Augmenti, glad to be of help!

In order to run UGE, as it is an old MS-DOS executable, you need Dosbox (http://www.dosbox.com/). With dosbox it works (I play all my games on a 64bit Windows 7).
