grunthos64: I Love Rpgs especially the ones where you are dungeon roaming. I love Ultima Underworld and Might and Magic..........but can't get into Stonekeep. After Earthworm Jim, D&D games, MDK series, Fallout, Descent, and Messiah....Interplay finally has a stinker. Don't know why anyone would want to play this.
It's definitely different from most RPGs... in many ways it's more of an adventure game. There's less focus on stat-boosting and items and more focus on exploration and puzzles. A lot of the characters and writing are pretty cheesy too, but I thought that sort of added to the charm.
The beginning of the game is a bit bland and also rather hard, but if you get past that and pick up a few party members, things get more interesting. There's a bit of a lull right before the end, but then the actual end is interesting again.
Might be worth sticking with it a little longer, but I can understand if the game just isn't your thing.
