Is it possible to get the pre-2.0 installers for this? I have it on Steam and earlier pre-2.0 versions are still installable for those that prefer to there.

There are some mods that are still only 1.9 and I rather miss some pre-2.0 mechanics, so I'd like to keep my options open.

I feel having pre- and post-2.0 installers would make it a more complete package, for those who still want to experience the original game before the sweeping changes, for good or ill.

Just want to check before I do another "must have my DRM-free version of a game I already have on Steam" thing.

I *THINK* if you install the paradox launcher and download the game through that you can download pre version 2.0 versions

Yep just checked - with the launcher you can download and install any version back to 1.7.2

Doubt GOG will bother with individual installers for previous versions though

While I would definitely prefer installers, as GOG does for some games that have very different earlier versions, this is workable for now. Thanks for finding this out!

Installers just make it easier to store away in the event it's no longer possible to revert via these other methods.
